You can't get better by standing still. Our menu development team continues to develop new tastes and improve the quality of our ingredients. They work with a senior team of department representatives, corporate and franchisee operators in creating, testing and implementing new menu items for promotions and menu updates. This team also focuses on food cost profitability; kitchen labour efficiencies; menu engineering and the training of our operations training team.
SUPPLY MANAGEMENT 

By leveraging our buying power, our purchasing department is able to go to market and contract the highest quality products at the most competitive prices. Quality is always a prime consideration when making our purchasing decisions. Purchasing is also responsible for ensuring that there is a seamless distribution system in place that ensures that product will arrive at our restaurants in optimum condition. Our contracting and distribution capabilities have resulted in major cost savings that have been passed on to our franchisees.

NATIONAL & LOCAL STORE MARKETING

At White Spot, we share a passion for food. This passion is demonstrated through seasonal promotions that run chain wide and receive extensive media support. These promotions focus on new, value priced dishes that use fresh, seasonal ingredients. They are designed to create excitement and menu variety, which provides another reason to visit White Spot.

Our local store marketing program is second to none. We have an extensive off-the-shelf program to address specific market opportunities. In addition, we educate, coach and support potential franchisees in meeting their individual business objectives. 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Information Technology department at White Spot is constantly researching and developing new systems to enhance our business processes.

White Spot's Online Portal is a powerful tool to assist franchisees. Through it they have access to online manuals, local store marketing tools, promotional information and much more. Each franchised location is also provided a communication link through the Portal to keep up on news and events that impact their location. The information technology department is also responsible for researching the latest technology innovations like wireless and integrated software solutions.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

Providing design and construction support for new construction or renovation projects to our Franchisees is a commitment we make to assure the successful outcome of their projects.  White Spot Limited has developed a proven project management program whose methodologies are applied to oversee the development process of our Franchisees restaurants.

At the inception of a new project we assign one of our senior design/management staff who will sit down with the Franchisee to review program requirements and guide them through the necessary steps, from project conception to completion to achieve a successful project in the shortest amount of time possible and within the budge parameters previously established.  At the option of the Franchisee, White Spot Limited can be retained to provide comprehensive design services, which includes space planning, design, specifications and preparation of complete permit, tender and construction documentation at competitive fee.

As part of the Franchise package Design and Construction will assist with budget development, supply and equipment procurement support, design and construction services support, art selection/installation and project closeout support.


REAL ESTATE

White Spot works with a number of real estate brokers in major markets to source available real estate for new restaurant development. If a prospective franchisee wants to submit a potential site for review, the real estate department will assess the site's suitability based on the same criteria that it uses to review all other potential sites.

White Spot's real estate department is available to assist in lease negotiation and review if requested.
